Currently, I am working to develop breath analysing sensor for detecting diabetes. Normally, blood test is carried out to detect and manage diabetes. This is highly inconvenient to patients.
Higher amount of ‘acetone’ gas is present in the exhaled breath of diabetic patients. Detecting of acetone gas in the exhaled breath is an alternative way to detect diabetes.
A breath analysing sensor can detect acetone in the exhaled breath. So, it can detect diabetes too. This process is very simple, convenient and totally painless.

My Typical Day:
In a typical day, I wake up at 7:15 AM. I prepare the breakfast for me and my family including my two sons. After that, I send my son to the school and then I come to the laboratory where I have to do many scientific experiments. I investigate different aspects of materials science and engineering. I work until 6 PM and then come back home. After taking dinner, I play with my sons, read books, play guitar or do my hobby. I go to bed around 11.00 PM.

In a typical day, I wake up at 7:15 AM. Then I prepare breakfast for my family while my wife prepare my sons for their school. After taking breakfast, I send my son to his school. Then I come to my laboratory using train service. While coming to office by train, I think about my work plan for the day. When I arrive at my office, I check my emails and reply those. Then I go to my laboratory for doing scientific experiments to investigate hypotheses, to solve some engineering problems or something that may be useful for humanity. This is a lot of works. After taking my lunch, I write down my scientific findings so that it can be useful later. I spend few hours in a day to learn new knowledge such as new theory, new programming language etc. I work until 6.00 PM and then start for home. After coming home, I get fresh and take my dinner with my family. The rest of the time I play with my children, read books, play guitar or do my hobby. Then I go to bed by 11.00 PM.
On weekends and holidays, I spend time for outdoor activities with my children. Sometimes, we watch movie, write stories, compose music or draw something using watercolour.
