I’m happy with working on a research project about cybercrime.

Internet is a great place to communicate with your friends and buy something you need easily. However, crime groups also use the internet for bad purposes, and they can hide their identity. Police forces have big challenges identifying and catching criminals on the internet because they might not have enough experts, computers and programmes. So, they need support from private companies such as Google, Facebook, Instagram to catch criminals. To get support from the private sector, police departments and private companies have to communicate with an online application to act quickly. My research examines this communication application. Is it a good application to improve the partnership, or is it useless?

My Typical Day:
I wake up in the early morning and have breakfast with my wife. I check my emails before I start working and reply to them if necessary. Then, I read books, articles and do some research on the internet. If I see important information, I take note to use it later.

Sometimes, I talk with people who know cybercrime better than me. I listen to them and take notes on what they say. When I learn enough about the topic, I write articles and turn these articles into a book. I also share my knowledge with people working in the university, police officers, private company workers and kids like you. I answer their question and help them to understand complicated topics. My research project aims to help police departments to fight against cybercrime and make our world a better place.
